Speedrunner of the Week


Welcome to Speedrunner of the Week!! What is Speedrunner of the Week? It is a contest for skilled players, there are racers, fast racers, and on another level, speed runners. Do you have what it takes to be a speed runner?

How does it work? Every week a new Level is picked for players to speed run, a time is selected for you to beat, you must beat that time and all other contestants' times, the fastest time sent in by the end of the week will be the winner. 

The winner each week will earn the Crocodile Set + Epic.


The contest rules will be listed below:
Failure to follow these guide lines will void your run for the week.
No glitches are allowed.
You are only allowed to use 180 Stat Points(Rank 30)
You are not allowed to use any hats other than the Exp Hat, Kong Hat, and Party Hat.
You are not allowed to win two weeks in a row.
Only one submission per week.
In event of a tie, the first person to send in their run will be the winner.
Stat blocks and items of course, are allowed.
Only video submissions are allowed, post them below. 
Important! You can only win the prize on the account used during the video of your run.
Submissions end Sunday 12:00 am CST.

you used to be able to log in with a different combination of upper and lower case letters in your username and your name would appear exactly as that, but these days it seems to disregard upper and lower case and your name always appears as it did when you created the account.

Can this be changed so that my name can appear as JcJc again, rather than jcjc?

The old imgur uploader (that was built into the editor here on the forum) broke, so I went ahead and added a new one. It's a little bit different; you can drag+drop your image or click where you see this symbol:



On the full editor, it's right below the smilies.

Please note: if your image is above 1MB in size, it will be automatically converted to JPG format. This will remove any transparency (PNG) or movement (GIF) present in the file. Make it so you can save certain things in levels like if you make a basic trap you can copy it and paste it in other levels
or if you made a hat remover in 1 level you can just copy it into another level.

Just thought I'd say that this issue is a similar thing to do with how play positions did not update smoothly when spectating which is due to them being far away from where your player is. In this case, is sort of because the blocks are far away from your player (or at least I think it is). 

Also, I was trying to get this all in one video using the same level but I couldn't reproduce it all the time so it may be harder to fix than I thought.

Push Blocks

Problem: Push blocks in different positions for different players.

Type of Problem: Client

Expected Behavior: Push blocks should be in the same position for all players.

Actual Behavior: Different positions.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem: Play a level with someone that has a push block and do what I do in the video.

Vanish Blocks

Problem: Vanish blocks staying vanished when spectating players or if a player forfeits on them.

Type of Problem: Client

Expected Behavior: The vanish blocks should reappear. 

Actual Behavior: The vanish blocks stay vanished.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem: Play a level with someone that has a vanish block and do stuff.

Video

0:00 - Push blocks going out of sync when pushing them with a player.

0:42 - Push blocks not moving when spectating someone pushing them.

0:49 - Vanish blocks not reappearing when spectating a player.  Ok, so I couldn't reproduce this on video even though I did it just before recording when I was testing it but it does happen.

Vanish blocks not reappearing when forfeiting on them was added after I made the video but you can reproduce that solo.

Sometimes when I play pr2 the "completed level" bonus caps at 50, sometimes it caps at 25, sometimes at about 35, etc. And i know i've spent enough time. What does the exp limit depend on?

So, my FAH client folds slowly (usually about 2-3 days to finish a work unit), but sometimes it speeds up to relatively insane speeds - it gets to 99.99% in a few minutes. It's stuck at 99.99% for a while, after that it goes back to about the same percentage as it was before the "speed-up" and will start folding slowly as normal.

Does anybody else experience this?
