My partner and child are currently gone for 2 weeks visiting her side of the family so that gives me a looot of free time. So i will be killing that time attempting to learn this song on the guitar. Wish me luck

A few things have been fixed/changed on PR2 in the past couple of weeks.

• Orbital Trance and We Are Loud have been converted to their higher-quality versions. Thanks to @Minimania and @IHaveDaCowboyz for letting me know these exist!
  
• EXP prize awards no longer award way more than they're supposed to award. 2.5M EXP apparently was equivalent to 12.1B. Shout out to @AspectZero, @__, and @Prince Ande for being patient while this one was debugged.
  
• The artifact hint no longer breaks when special characters are in the title or username. ?
  
• The threshold for level backups has been decreased. Previously, only levels not saved within the past two weeks would be backed up. That has been lowered to a day. Thanks to @Prince Ande for reporting an issue that led to this change!
  

it's been years since i've made a thread here! i used to be a regular on pr2 when i was a teenager. i made a few life-long friends, and many memorable connections with people who hold a special place in my heart. i came back a couple months ago when i was settling into quarantine, wasn't sure how long i'd be here, but since it's been a while now i thought i would overcome my social anxieties and post somewhere other than village games and say hi. hi!

i love seeing the consistent thoughtful updates to the site and games, people's art (which was one of my favorite things about pr2), and simply just finding out how everyone's doing these days. this place used to have the coolest users and i'm glad to see that hasn't changed.

Welcome to the Weekly Composing Challenge (WCC for short) !

A coworker last night told me he was struggling to begin a piece of music every time he'd open his DAW, and so we came up with this simple idea to potentially boost his writing a bit. I figured it could be cool to have it over here as well. Whether you're a newcomer or an expert in the world of composing, I'm sure it can be fun to just sit down to play around with just a few guidelines and let the music speak, and share our results at the end of the week.

If you're interested in participating, you have the whole week to write a short piece of music that will more or less follow these simple guidelines. Remember, they are not very specific or limiting your options; you have a lot of latitude and they are only there to get you started somewhere ! . Feel free to use any digital audio workstation you want (I personally use Musescore, free sheet music software), or even live instrumentation ^^

Once you're done, just send it to me via PMs or Discord (#Goliathe7046), preferably under an .mp3 format but anything is fine, and I'll he results together so you can discover everyone's piece all together

- Key is C# major
- 32 bars/measures

Very broad options for week 1, any instruments or key signature you can think of are fair play

If you disconnect with the Options menu open, then close it, the Main Menu appears to be unresponsive.

What actually seems to be happening is that the menu is still there, but not visible (my mouse cursor changes when I move it over where the text boxes were).

If you wait 30 seconds, the menu will re-appear like this:



As you can see, there are a whole bunch of instances displaying over each other, and clicking the Close button doesn't seem to do anything.

Wait another 33 seconds and it will disappear. Then the cycle will repeat and the menu will re-appear 30 seconds later.

How you disconnect doesn't seem to matter. Manually logging out or disconnecting from the internet can both be done to produce this issue.
