Okay, so I had more time to think about what happened yesterday, and discussed it with more people.

Everyone I talked to said he was 100% in the wrong.

Especially because I went back to that same intersection. I had the right of way going straight on the crosswalk. He was making a right turn, meaning he can turn if he checks that the coast is clear. I waited for a gap in people turning and had the cross symbol, so I went. If he had checked the crosswalk before making his turn, the whole thing would've been avoided.

That being said, I'm still going to wait for the people turning right. The same thing would've happened today, someone turned right as I was waiting with the cross symbol.
