You seemed to have taken turning 30 much more positively than I did hahaha (more on that later).
I think the revival has made a lot of people happy, nostalgic, and remembering what it was like being a kid again. I generally took it positively. Turning 30 caused me for the first time to really look back and absorb everything up to this point in my life, and to think about all the things I used to be involved with (such as JV).
But yes, even playing just a small part in bringing back some joy, and old faces, has made it all worth it. I wouldn’t trade this experience for nothing. Truly amazing hearing from all of you!

I joined PR2 when I was 11 years old, and I've been in this community for 17 years. In that time, I graduated high school, got a job I didn't like, quit that job, fell in love, broke up, fell in love again, got a job I'm happy with, moved into a hotel, adopted a puppy, saved up, bought a bike, moved into an apartment, and adopted a cat.
Now within the next year or so, we should have enough saved to move into a house!
Who knows where I'd be, had I not decided to play PR2 that one day. For better or for worse (I think for better c: ), I have this community to thank!
Love this!
I joined PR2 on the very last day of 6th grade. So I think I also would've been around 11, maybe 12.
I played a lot that summer, but not much the rest of middle school.
I remember either in 8th grade or 9th grade setting up F@H and getting the crown hat. The cowboy hat would've been nigh impossible for my little laptop.
I remember joining for the forums just for...a hat? No, that doesn't sound right. I can't remember what led me to the forums. Aw.
I would've stumbled across JV Survivor early in my time on the forums.
Apart from that, I also remember trying so hard to win Level Of The Week, which I finally pulled off right before senior year of high school. I was so excited and wore my bubbles with pride.
Then I went off to college and dropped PR2 and JV completely...until 12 years later! (plus some quick drop ins throughout the years, like in 2020, 2021, etc)

lol there should be a competition where you try to break each other's chains. We did something pretty similar early in this season. I was posting while in the middle of class!

That, and also reading your PR2/JV lore and writing up my own version!

For me, turning 30 was a big "ah, I haven't accomplished ___ or gotten ____ done - all things I should have by now!" But that lasted a short while. It's been replaced with an understanding that everyone's journey is different and has its own pace and trajectory. Plus there are a ton of benefits to reaching a new decade.

@ Sushie what happened to season 8? Is that when the forums went down?
Do you remember the winner of each of the first 7 seasons?
Who do you think would've won season 8 if it were finished?
Which season was the most exciting? Which season turned out the most unexpected? When season challenge YOU the most?
(Just asking about seasons 1-8 - this one is still unfolding!)
Also is this season 9 or is this season 1 but of like a new spin off version?
