| Toggle Button for April Fools' Controls |

Now that PR2 for most ppl is download only and requires a synced clock time, everyone on April Fools' must have the reversed controls
Some people do not like this (and before you could get around it by changing clock anyway) so I think there should be a tickbox to toggle the April Fools' controls on or off (this way you can also use them other days of the year which you could before as well by changing clock)

JAWS OF DEATH
Tip: Read the entire thread in order to answer this challenge, correctly.
Think about the last time you've been in the ocean with one of these vicious, aggressive, malevolent monsters?! It's terrifying, right? The blood is literally boiling through your veins, you're shaking in fear, and your anxiety is through the roof! Why the hell did you decide to go in the ocean in the first place?! Call a lifeguard, call 911, rescue squad, anyone! You might be on your own with this one ?
That shark doesn't give a damn about you! He's got one objective in mind if you cross his territory, devour your guts and bones... he's hungry! ?☠️
![[Image: bones-in-a-graveyard.jpg]](https://cdn-prod.medicalnewstoday.com/content/images/articles/320/320444/bones-in-a-graveyard.jpg)
This is the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT that I was talking about in the blog. We're going to play a game where I'm literally going to test your knowledge to see how smart you are at dealing with something this terrifying, especially when you have no allies to come to your rescue. This is a human being vs the great white shark! You're the human on a surfboard in the picture, and the great white is the one who's trying to eat you alive!
Think of this person as your best friend who is really close to you, who will be a victim in this thread. The rest of you (who's not selected) are the guilty ones in 2nd person, who ruined your best friends' life. Pay attention and read every detail because this is going to be a tricky one.
STORY
You're a visitor ?? out of town, looking for a nice place to visit in Florida. Not doing your research, you don't know any good places to visit, so you decide to do something stupid and visit Jupiter, Florida, without knowing whether it's a good place to visit or not. The good news is, someone approaches you with a job offer ?? as a sales executive for the Palm Beach Office in Jupiter, Florida.
Of course you'll have to make arrangements to live there and live in an apartment. Fast forward, you do just that, and your annual salary is $145k??! Your boss sends you an email with some very important, first day documents that he wants you to complete. He then hands you a waterproof, 4k UHD, business smartphone to use for your sales executive job. Don't lose this phone or the documents, or you'll be terminated, permanently!
After the first download, the documents expire and can no longer be accessed. They are now on YOUR phone. First day of work turns out to be excellent. But you still have to use those documents on your phone in the near future for your presentation. The weekend hits, you decide to go on a vacation to New Smyrna Beach (located in Volusia County, Florida), where SHARK ATTACKS are MOST COMMON in the US:
https://www.floridamuseum.ufl.edu/shark-...a/florida/
It just so happens that you have a good time over there, you just got invited to a party, and everything is lovely, right? HELL NO! You were having a good time, until this happened...
PROBLEM
It's your best friends' (who is a woman) 21st birthday! ? Everyone (including you) is celebrating their birthday. Tasty seafood is available, everyone is drinking and having a good time, and NOTHING can possibly go wrong, right? Think again! You've had too much to drink with JACK DANIELS, already. You're wasted. You start throwing up on people's food at the party ?? People are starting to dislike you for this. Lastly, you start to become a dick and eat up your best friends' birthday cake. Now people really dislike you! Just incase you get thrown into the water at this point, you can't swim!
Everyone in Florida, and I mean EVERYONE, seems to love your best friend because they are the nicest one there, and if someone gave your best friend some trouble, that person would be heavily despised and outcasted. It turns out that you're the one who is that person. Not only did you become a dick and eat up your best friends' cake, you also managed to instigate a shark attack on your best friend! ??? How did that happen, you asked?
Your ass is so drunk that you started playing your own game where you threw your own best friend into the ocean to see who can save them the fastest ?? Now the problem only deteriorates from here because everyone is afraid to dive in the ocean and safe your best friend because of the great white shark that just so happens to be in there! ? One guy (who happens to be your best friends boyfriend) is so irritated with you, that he just yanks your business phone out of your hand and just throws it into the ocean ?
He is too big and too tall for you to fight, so picking a fight with them isn't the best solution. He can swim. Everyone is saying that your best friend is going to drown and be eaten by the great white, and it's all YOUR FAULT! No one is willing to call for help because they instinctively know that law enforcement, rescue squad, and anyone else doesn't want the smoke with the great white. They've all been there and suffered shark bites, so no one is willing to go through that dreadful experience again!
Your best friends boyfriend becomes frustrated with you and decides to pull out a gun on you, forcing you to make the right decision. They may or may not fire it at you; who knows?? Not the smartest dude in the world ☠️
At this point, you're f*cked because not only do you have to save your best friend from drowning so you won't be outcasted any further, you'll have to save your phone from being damaged by any other unknown creatures in the ocean because your job is on the line, too! Your phone is far away from your best friend drowning, by the way.
FINAL
To sum up everything, your reputation and your job is on the line! Now, you must make a smart decision in the poll. Are you going to save your best friend and risk losing your job, or are you going after your phone and risk them being eaten by the great white. If you save your best friend, everyone will forgive you and move on. But then you'll lose your job and end up homeless because first of all, you have no other way to make an income now, so you would no longer be able to support yourself and live in Florida.
On the other hand, if you save your phone and let your best friend drown and get eaten, you will be heavily despised and outcasted; folks will literally run you out of town with pitch forks and chainsaws! In fact, someone is willing to tie you up and put you in a cage, and just toss you in the ocean with the great white, if you decide to let your best friend get their guts and bones slaughtered.
So now, there ain't but ONE chose that is the correct one. All the other choses will get you killed or cause you to lose your new job. You decide in the poll above and let me know below. Oh, and if you voted without reading, you will be called out for it. Remember, pay attention to every detail in the thread because not every piece of information will be included in the poll. There is meaning behind the answers in the poll, and picking the wrong one could lead to consequences for your character. But, are you willing to deal with those consequences?
One last thing: if you pull a gun on someone, it could raise awareness to law enforcement, a Karen, and damage your reputation.

| Level Search Bugs |

After playing around with the search tool for a while I noticed that there are a lot of things that you can't search for even if you're typing in the correct information. This makes searching for levels which have these specific issues a lot harder than it needs to be.
Here are a few things that I've noticed the search tool can't do:
1. Words that are 3 characters or less
This is probably the most common problem I've come across when searching for levels, if I try and search for words such as 'Cat' or 'Red' in the search bar nothing will pop up, despite the fact that there are plenty of levels which feature those words (Cat Planet by Pounce, Red Forest by Team-RotomMan). I think it would be pretty helpful to allow 3-letter word searches since there's so many levels with those words that can't be searched.
2. Levels with punctuation
Not as big of a problem but still can be quite tedious nevertheless, when searching for levels with punctuation in quotation marks sometimes the level can't be found at all. I believe that the search bar just focuses on letters and numbers and not punctuation, hence why it can cause this problem. The only time I've had this problem was when searching for TheDraftFormer's levels such as [War]Pi.
3. Searching for numbers in letter form
This is probably the weirdest of them all and I have no idea why this is a problem, but when you are searching for numbers in their letter form you will get no results. The best example I can give for this is with 'Five' by 5uperTrinity. If you search for Five or any other number you will not get any results in the search bar whatsoever.
I guarantee there is probably a few more levels which are unsearchable for different reasons I haven't came across yet, but I'll try and update this thread with any I find.

If I can redirect your attention to the PR2hub Leaderboard; http://pr2hub.com/leaderboard.php?
You can see that these players;
Vipa
Admin
DarkReason
God
BROSKI29
& Interpulse all has their guild rank token still..
- BUG: Guild tokens staying on accounts due to players being 'inactive'
- FIX: After the expire item like Guild Rank tokens, Fred The G. Cactus set, etc instead of waiting for their next login there's a way that if they've been inactive for over 24-72 hours the Guild Rank Tokens or Fred The G. Cactus set will just disappear from the account or accounts.
- I know there's a small fix is that when they re-login it'll just be gone but sometime players are inactive for a long time and there should be a fix.

Welcome to Speedrunner of the Week, a contest tailored for the fastest players in Platform Racing 2! We have the racers, the fast racers, and those who are above them all: Speedrunners. Do you have what it takes to become a Speedrunner?
? How does it work? ? - Each week a new level is given a target time and expert time for contestants to beat. If you complete the target time you get 1 point added onto your total score. If you are super speedy and also manage to complete the expert time you will gain 1 extra point, bringing your total to 2 just from beating the set times.
- You can also gain points if you place in a podium spot against your competitors: if you set the fastest time that week you will gain 3 points, if you come in with the second fastest time you will get 2 points, and if you set the third fastest time you will get 1 extra point. Make note however, you will only be granted these podium points if you have beaten the target time.
- Submissions will close on Sunday 12:00AM EDT. Be sure to convert this time into your own timezone if necessary to avoid any late submissions!
? Rules: ? - Any runs that have been posted after the submission date will not be counted for that week. Please note that Sunday 12:00AM EDT is your deadline and not when I post the "submission's closed" comment on the thread.
- You are allowed to submit as many runs as necessary; you are not just limited to one.
- You are not allowed to use any form of hacks or TAS in your submitted run, doing so will get you banned from participating in any further SOTW events.
- Any form of glitching which wasn't intended by the creator of the level will not be allowed. If you are unsure whether a glitch is allowed or not, feel free to ask me in a thread post or through Discord.
- You are not allowed to involve multiple players in your speedrun. however, you are allowed to have someone spectate you for any assistance purposes such as recording runs.
- In the event of a level with 'Super Flying Cowboy Mode' (SFCM): unless the level uses this mode as a hat remover or if the level specifically requires the use of SFCM, all runs that have this mode enabled must be reset. Any runs that have this mode enabled when it's prohibited will be voided.
- You are only allowed to use up to 195 stat points (Rank 45).
- You are not allowed to use any hats which may affect the time of the speedrun. Hats which you are allowed to use include: Exp Hat, Kong Hat, Party Hat, Jigg Hat, Thief Hat and the Jellyfish Hat.
- You are allowed to get the stat advantages from any of the stat blocks around the level.

Copying the description cause I'm lazy, eh
A collection of some of the music I made throughout the last year.
When it comes to composing, I tend to start and complete a piece in only one sitting, with very few exceptions. About a year ago I started to write music without waiting months between each session. This EP contains most of the stuff I felt decent about.
Hopefully this serves as a good comparison for next year, I want to come up with another one of these and perhaps learn how to mix a bit.
Hope you like it !

The Beginning
I'm gonna let you know ahead of time that this thread is not part of the "BIG Announcement". That's coming in the near future. In the meantime, I do have some important information for you all below:
Everyone has something meaningful that they'd like to do with their lives. When you graduate from high school, you have a BIG decision to make, once you step foot into the real world. The real world can be scary if you don't have a plan, or have any options to look forward to.
Where do people wind up after high school? Well, some of them plan on going to college, some of them find regular entry level jobs, and some of them just don't know what to do yet. So, they stay with their parents for a little while until they figure out what they want to do. On the other hand, some of them wind up in jail after going through a rough life during childhood.
Now there's nothing wrong with working two jobs, working one job full-time, working part-time and going to school full-time, going to school part-time and working full-time, or even the BIGGEST one- going to school full-time and working full-time, or working 2 full-time jobs. Mad respect from me to you if you're doing the last two.
But please, I beg you... DO NOT choose the life of crime or choose to do nothing with your life. Eventually this will lead to serious regrets when you get older, trust me. If you've been there and done that already, I hope you turn your life around.
There are those who do have a plan, and those who don't have a plan. If you do have a plan, congratulations. If not, I encourage you to think about what you want to do with your life. It's ok if you don't know what to do right now. But when it gets to a point in time where you've surpassed 25 years old and you're still stuck in that realm of not knowing what to do, then I strongly encourage you to tighten up because one of these days, you're going to regret wasting your life in the 20s.
If you are past 25 years old, then it's still not too late to think about what you want to do with your life. As long as you have time on your side and you have a roof over your head, then you have time to think about other options. NEVER complain about your current situation if you can help it. Complaining leads to sorrowful regrets in life.
I will briefly address that if you don't know what to do with your life because of a personal issue (that makes sense), then I got nothing else to say about that and I hope you do well with whatever that is and make something out of your life. The last thing that I want you all to do is GIVEUP and do nothing. Only losers GIVEUP and do nothing.
All of you who are reading this thread are winners and you may or may not even know it. You just have to find your passion and reach your highest potential if you haven't done that already.
College/University
One of the BEST things about going to college is that if you stick with it and get your degree/diploma, you will obtain higher knowledge than where you started from. But the journey towards getting there, is an arduous one. Yes, you're slammed with homework and projects every week, you have exams and tests that keep you from interacting with your social life, and eventually it gets to a point where you're completely stressed out and fed up.
Not everyone finishes college, and that's ok, just as long as you have a backup plan. If you don't have a backup plan, then the next days of your life could be completely tedious, especially if you don't have a job. On the other hand, if you have the fight in you to continue, then by all means, please continue and think about your goals after you graduate.
If you're not slammed down with student loans and you can afford to make it all the way with financial aid and student loans, then by all means, please finish. If you're not paying out of pocket, then just remember that you have to pay those people back if you drop out ? Especially if you don't have a job... oh hell no! If you are paying out of pocket and you can't afford to continue, then I strongly urge you to create a backup plan before you dropout, that way you'll fall into a safety net when the dropout date comes.
Graduation Rewards/Hard Work
For those of you who already graduated from college, give yourselves a big pat on the back because you made it. You never have to go back to school and deal with all the BS pressure of exams, projects, and homework. Unless you're continuing to get your master's degree, or you have to keep going because you want to be a doctor, surgeon, dentist, physician, etc. Then you must keep going.
Depending on what your field of study is, you may end up making some serious money. Not every one who obtains their degree, starts off with a high paying job, obviously. Unless you're an accountant, for example. A lot of entry-level jobs pay between $20-40k depending on where you live.
To break down the rewards in its most simplistic form is that you'll be making money, you get to work at your dream job, and you have a better chance of reaching higher levels of success that you couldn't reach before. Example: materialistic things that you wanted in life that you couldn't get before because you were making an average amount of money.
Yes, you could keep working long shifts everyday, and there's nothing wrong with that because you love money, and money can bring happiness (to a certain extent). It's not everything! If you're not making money working these long 12hr shifts a day, then you need to quit because it's a waste of time and energy. But if you're making money and you feel like this is what you need to do to survive, then by all means, continue. You have my respect ??
If you are working long shifts, daily, and there's something that you want in life and it's going to cost you a fortune, then I urge you to stop and compare your overall annual rate versus the material prize that you want. Calculate all your monthly personal/business expenses, and decide if it's in your reach to get the materialistic thing that you desire. For example: you want a corvette c8 that's six figures. If you're making $20 in hour at your full time, 12hr job, you can afford this (if you have good credit of course), and it's in your reach.
But that's considering the fact that you'll need to (once again), calculate all your monthly personal/business expenses, and ultimately come to that decision as too if you can afford this thing or not.
Regular Jobs/Trades
College isn't for everyone. So what do they do? They go and find a regular job because they love money and they want to get their expenses paid off to survive. Then there are those who'd rather take up a trade such as a carpenter, plumber, landscaper, painter, or anything related to this because it's something that they want to do with their lives, or whatever the case may be. At the end of the day, as long as you're making something out of yourself, or you're making money somewhere, then all these things are perfectly find.
But then what happens when you get tired of doing what you're doing? Then what? Before you step foot in that door, you need to decide whether you're going to retire at that place, move to a higher position, or find something else because eventually everyone becomes fatigued after working at the same place every day/week.
The thing about working regular jobs are the fact that your boss can be a dick, co-workers can piss you off, and you might become fatigued after doing the same old thing over and over again. If you don't mind repeating that piss-water over and over again, or if you feel like you need to do this to make money or because you love money and want to make a living, then go for it!
But if you're tired of that piss-water, than this is a reminder from me to you that you're not trapped and you have untapped potential that you just haven't discovered yet.
Why have I decided to make this thread?
I wanted to see if I could make a difference in any of your lives, or inspire you to do something that you want to do. So that's why I've listed a few options in the poll, to obtain a general idea of something that you'd like to do, or may you'd rather stay where you're at. These options are just going to be general choices, and not everything will be listed in the poll above.
Please don't procrastinate. Procrastination can lead to delays and regrets when it comes to reaching your goals and full potential in life. Just imagine being 40 years of age and not even trying to make something out of your life ? Or even worse... all those years you've wasted, sitting on your ass doing nothing and letting all your opportunities fly by you. This kind of thing closes the door to relationships, career opportunities, ? that could have been in your pocket to buy the things that you desire, and a roof over your head.
The world is cold and heartless, and if you don't make something out of yourself, most people are going to kick you aside and keep walking. Also, relationships that you may desire, you can forget about that if you won't even help yourself because then you really will feel like a total loser and less of a person if you've got nothing going on.
Do you really want to go past 30 or 40 years old, doing absolutely nothing with your life, or throwing it away after committing crime or not doing anything?! I mean really, now. At least find a job or do something! REMEMBER: it's not that you're a loser, it's just that you didn't even try and you gave up!
So at the end of the day, I want you to stop and think about where you see yourself in a few years from now, and decide if it's something that you're going to do for the rest of your life, or if you're currently unsatisfied with where you are now, and what do you plan on doing about it.
What's Next?
This is a good start for those of you who want to make something out of yourselves, or if you're tired of repeating the same piss-water over and over again:
https://www.careertest.com/
REMEMBER: I don't discredit or criticize what you're currently doing at the moment, if that's what you're doing to make a living. However, I do have a problem with those of you who choose to do nothing with your lives because I want you to be successful with something meaningful!
This is just a reminder and motivational thread for those of you who don't want to do the same thing over again. If you can't find time to go back to school, take up a trade or something, then that's fine. But then eventually you'll want to do something else, so I strongly recommend that you create a plan with time management, consider other jobs, etc. Goodluck!
